Jo Alice began her career as a licensed mediator and Staff Attorney for Hon. Lewis F. Paisley,  Fayette Circuit Judge, in 1992.   This was followed by five years of practice representing insurers in all aspects of litigation of products liability, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation claims.  Since 2001, she has focused exclusively on representing self-insured employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carries in all aspects of workers’ compensation and workers’ compensation subrogation.   She is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Tennessee.  She is a 1989 graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and a 1992 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. 

In her spare time, Jo Alice supports the advocacy efforts of Americans For Ibogaine, a 501 (c) (3) founded to promote education, awareness, and research about ibogaine and other plant-based treatments for mental health and addiction.
